We arrived in Kansas City Missouri at about 3:00 am after traveling through Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Kansas. Dam its cold! 20 to 30 degrees!
We drove around town impressed by the size, sophistication, and grandeur.
After touring for a couple of hours we found a Motel out of town and slept till 12:00 noon.
Thereafter, we went to the famous Gates BBQ for a fine and tasty lunch. Two of us got the "Boner", the four boned rib special. They named it, we didn’t. We felt embarrassed when the cashier yelled out with gusto "two boners, please!"

Ok, now we are headed to Des Moines.
